    will be going to work for millis in waco soon. they said my app was approved and have to meet with a driver manger named jeff. sounds like good job to hauling beer bottles to ft worth and back to waco to glass plant. work 6pm to 6am I think. trip is only 80 miles one way. I hope millis doesnt have a problem with floating gears havent double clutch in 3 years. anyone out there who know about this job would love to hear from

    Congrats on your new job. Floating gears will always be on going argument in the industry whether its bad for the transmission or not. Millis will tell you to use the clutch, but a driver will do what he wants when he's out on his own.

    Sorry don't know about that job specifically. If that's what you'll be doing everyday you'll have it down within a couple of loads.

    Kinda late getting to your post but as a otr driver I have run that on 2 occasions 3 round trips each. Only problem I had within was seeing motorcycles in feb as im from the great white north I turned green. Easy gig from my experience. Bear is right on with his response. Hope things going well for ya.
