Miller Transporters restructuring

Are you saying that they are in financial trouble?

 

I wonder if they got bought out?
I've got a buddy whose run out of Channelview for 10+ years.
I'll ask him about it.

 

He says he hasn't heard a thing but will ask on Monday.

 

Delaware is a popular state for companies to incorporate in or move headquarters to, if they are in financial trouble or shady money flowing. Vice President Bidens state. Don't know it still happens, probably doesn't, but lots of drug money used to go to Delaware, then disappear. Sometimes trying to follow a company, you follow it to Delaware, then discover they have another office out west in some small town & go there, and it's an abandoned motel that hasn't been open for years.

 

just talked to somebody out of mobile and all the company drivers are going to be based out of Delaware and all Owner Operators are still going to be based out of Jackson.

 

Miller is creating an umbrella corporation. This will have Miller Transporters, MILS, and Miller Leasing under it. It's to protect Miller if one portion has a mishap. IE if there is an accident by a Miller Transporters driver that division is the only one liable. Also they have created some new positions but I don't know that they would want me to announce them here.
