I am 53 yrs old and will be ending my current position within the next 4-8 weeks. I have wanted to be a truck driver my whole life, but with other obligations, wife, unexpected family, and then parents' health issues (I am an only child too) life has kind of gotten in the way of my dream. With the phasing out of my current position, I feel it's either now or never to start my pursuit of my becoming a CDL driver and I want to have the best possible chance of making it. I am in good shape, good health, have a supportive lady in my life now, and my parents are no longer living.
I have done research on both of the above companies and think either one would give me a great start at rolling down the road. If anyone has any input you could give me I would be greatly appreciative. I live in the Central Ohio area where there is a lot of freight moving and companies have a lot of terminals. I just want the chance to learn to drive and do it safely and I really enjoy traveling and driving.
Thanks.
Millis or Roehl or Private Schooling?
