Negative. I’ve got a 2006 Western Star with a 60 Series Detroit that I’ve had for 1.5yrs now and in Dec I bought a 2006 KW T800 from Auction with a 1999 manufacture date Cummins that needs a lil motor work and will then be putting it to work.

    MIT and dwells40 Thank this.

Thanks man. I still post but just not as much in here since it’s been so long since I’ve been there now. Doing good though really enjoying being on my own. Ready to get my 2nd truck on the road though and be even better if I could find a driver for it.

    MIT and dwells40 Thank this.

Good luck with finding a good driver. I have a friend that is having the same issue.

I understand your feelings. I recently switched jobs to driving a tanker and some things are a lot better but not others. I don't miss the trailer tails or the nagging from the wingman system, nor the sweeping of the trailer (and the nails in the floor). The money is better here too, but some things are exactly the same and I'm just going to keep enduring things until retirement or self driving trucks take over and the robot driver gets blamed for everything.

Still in Indiana, truck still not fixed. They say Monday. Not really confident. They said Wednesday, they said Thursday, they said Friday, they even said today.
Definitely more enjoyable having the trainee in the truck rather than sharing a hotel room with the trainee.

I drove the nicest truck I've ever driven yesterday when someone came up to my window and asked me to back it into the dock for him. I was shocked in a way as there was plenty of room to maneuver too. I backed it most of the way for him so he could slide the tandems etc... as he asked me just before I needed to finish up my delivery. About 5 minutes later I heard this really loud boom and figured he'd hit the dock pretty hard. SMH.

Oh I’m sure he is but being paid and being paid worth a #### are 2 different things and I guarantee he’s not being paid anywhere near the amount he’s losing
