Last day with Marco as my dispatcher. Seriously almost feels like a death in the family. He spent 34.5 years with Millis.

Marco was my first dispatcher in 2015. I left for a local job in 2017 and cane back in 2019 and had Opie. Both were great in their own way. I left again in 2021 for family issues. I miss OTR and always liked Millis. Still follow them here.

    MIT Thanks this.

Never had him except when he was weekend dispatch but he seemed to be a favorite. Good on him for being able to retire, though.

Still undecided and JOHNQPUBLIC Thank this.

That's close to what they used to do before air conditioning was invented.

I've seen a lot worse on bonehead truckers, I wonder if this driver was wearing flip flops?

I don't know but somebody on Facebook accuse me of being one of those flip-flop wearing people a couple of days ago. If I wore flip flops on the job now I wouldn't have any toes left.

    MIT and dwells40 Thank this.

Knew things would be different with Marcos retirement. But it’s been stunning how quickly things have gone bad. Maybe a 900 mile week, thousand if I’m lucky.

Micawber20, JOHNQPUBLIC and dwells40 Thank this.

900 miles a week ain't worth being in a truck
