One of us is not like the other.
The Kenworth is a nicer truck rolling down the slab, but the Internationals sure are easier to maneuver, and the latches stay shut on the cabinets without using duct tape

 

I think my current trainee is borderline mentally retarded. I have been giving him some leeway because of the language barrier. But the last few days are making me think it has nothing to do with the language.
Best way to describe his driving style is Somali NY cab driver.

 

Hope you make the big bucks training idiots. As a 43yr veteran of this bs I’d last about 20 min doing what you do.

 

Yeah... It ain't the job for me either. I wouldn't have the patience to deal with the borderline mentally retarded or even just trying to teach an old dog new tricks.

Wow, Bill was my trainer. Things must be really bad now at Millis. I learned a lot from that guy!

Thats so funny. As I sit here idling my truck like the old Millis days. Screw the big carriers. Lots of other driving jobs around. Just have to know where to look.

The other day people got stuck because a tree fell across Augspurger road. So now it’s not just trains.

 

Heartland broke ground on the new Alvarado terminal last week. Interested to see if they sell the old Alvarado and Seagoville terminals before they complete it. They sold a couple of their terminals last year and then leased them back.
