I forget just what they did there to annoy me but it was something similar and I haven't bought one of their products I used regularly since then.

Night and day difference between Marco and the new dispatcher. A bad dispatcher definitely can ruin your experience at a company.
JOHNQPUBLIC, wulfman75, Micawber20 and 1 other person Thank this. -
It sure does feel that way. Marco was the best. I was on Jim P's board until he had enough. Loved him but Marco is/was a step above. Sucks driving here now and I'm looking elsewhere.MIT and Still undecided Thank this.

lol wow. 100% he was the best thing about Millis. That guy bent over backwards to keep my happy and keep me rolling. Everytime he went on vaca things went to #### so eventually it got to the point he’d give me a heads up extra early on when he was going to be gone or on vaca so I could plan to be off work as well lol.
Hope he enjoys retirementJOHNQPUBLIC, MIT, Still undecided and 2 others Thank this. -
It wasn't just when he went on vacation that things went south, that happened on the weekends too but it just didn't last as long.MIT Thanks this.
-
Yeah I was on Jim’s board also.

I should have done that some weekends too. I spent most of one waiting with the crowd at Trenton. I was waiting for a load that was scheduled to be picked up Monday morning when Opie called asking me what I was doing. When I told him I was waiting for the appointment time he got upset and told me I could have picked it up when they dispatched it to me. I asked why didn't they tell me that, I thought I had to wait and thought they would tell me I could pick it up earlier like he always did. Learned that the hard way.MIT Thanks this.

I know Beer Capitol in Sussex didn’t add on to their building to make it easier on us drivers but WOW. The new set up beats blind siding into the indoor dock any day of the week.
dwells40 Thanks this. -
So my last student got out in Albany to pick up a regional truck. He is going to operating out of Trenton/Columbus since he is from Columbus. Drop him off in Albany 1400 get him into his truck make sure he has everything he needs. They tell him they are waiting on a load out of the brewery that goes up to Trenton.
I get a load out and leave. He doesn’t get a load to Trenton till 1600 on Friday. He goes over to the brewery and that is where he starts trip planning and finds out that his co-pilot on qcom isn’t working.
He calls me in a panic I have him call safety. They aren’t in. I call up get someone who explains how to reset. We go through that process. Doesn’t work. I tell him to call in and ask for person who helped me. He does, he finds out that that person went home for the night. So he starts his explanation to whomever answered. They cut him off, after a few minutes and tell him they can fix it. Their fix.
“Is there a truck stop nearby”?
Yes
“Ok here is what you do, you drive up to the truck stop. You park. You get out of truck, go inside. Buy a F###### map”
Click.
That had to be one of the funniest things I have heard in a long time. Trainee called up all offended. He told me that I couldn’t help from belly laughing. He eventually thought it was funny.Gremlin304, hotrod1653, Still undecided and 4 others Thank this.
