Not only trucks but every motor vehicle. Homes next. Watch. The king will decree it.

The outrage of this thread is on INWARD facing cameras. No one gives a #### if they have cameras facing forward. You need to pay attention to what you're admitting to, and where you're doing it. Nonetheless, I feel I owe you an apology, simply because you weren't clear, and I assumed you were in sync with what was being discussed.

I'm so on the fence with driver cams. I don't want one and I don't think they'll create a safer driver, just a more paranoid one. But if you're driving for the company in their truck, then what they say goes. I don't like them at all. But it's not my truck, I have no say other than to quit.

Wow, really?? The truck's sleeper is a driver's living quarters for his time on the road. A guy should be able to wax his carrot without big brother monitoring him. Maybe you like no privacy at all.

This. If we're going to get slap happy and install cameras everywhere, why has no one gone to the trouble of putting one somewhere useful... Like on the back of a trailer pointing backwards. I realize a professional shouldn't have to rely on one of those, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be nice.

Funny how the apparent supporters of inward facing cameras all see to self-identify as "wannabes".

Things that make you go "hmmm"?:?

It's too bad too. These guys not only hold THEIR future in their hands (and are screwing themselves royally), they are whom us older folk must rely on to run this country. The future looks very, very dreadful.

Not to get political, but eventually I'm afraid there will be no more "vote for the lesser of two evil's"
