I have about 4 months with pepsi and i am sick and tired of all the headache with a hole managers, stocking and pricing all that crap. Y'all think thatd be enough experience to get into food distribution with sysco, pfg ,us foods, wood fruiticher crystal springs water or reinhart/Martin Brower

Call one of them and ask. I would say if you have a safe record over at Pepsi, they may hire you if they have openings.

Apply with Sygma Network; they haul for Sysco. They even hire drivers with only a cdl permit. Apply even if you don't think you're qualified.

So ignore the experience thing. Food guys have it bad but at least most of the stops are drops where all you do is drop the stuff off and go. No pricing, no stocking or any of that crap

    Dan.S Thanks this.

I would, those guys are screaming for drivers around the Detroit area. I forget the name of the outfit that handles the Pilots and other chain type stores. I think they are paying $25+ an hour to their drivers. China probably knows their name. Name is right on the tip of my tongue, white day cabs 40 or 48 foot trailers, lift gates.

I've applied to sysco, reinhart and martin brower as a driver and helper both, also applied to us foods, and considering pfg and wood fruitticher

Yes, always ignore "experience required" and apply anyway. That's how drivers land those good jobs sometimes.
You're probably qualified for Averitt Express line haul in your area.

    Dan.S Thanks this.

Depends on the company. I had just at two years for Rinehart in my area. I knew guus that started less than that.

Put in an application. Worse that is going ro happen is they say no thank you.

Only mclane available at the moment is the one where you run teams, not a huge fan of that. Ill gladly start as a helper with my cdl its experience and can build up to being a driver
