    1 mile down the road.

    I look for a day rate more then a per mile load.
    I could get 3 dollars a mile on a 100 mile load that takes 2 hours to loand and two to unload and the rets of the day in traffic.
    Or I could get 2 dollars a mile for a 1500 mile run.

    You cant just look at a per mile rate, at least I don't.
    I want my truck to make a min of 750 a day or real close to that.....I have taken days at 500 after fuel...but that was after I had a few 1500 day... After fuel.
    If I don't make that, Ill stay home and get a regular job.
