    Can anyone tell me about a mn based company called minn-tex? Been doing local/line haul this past year and would like to own/lease and go back otr.

    I hope that I didn't get to you too late.....stick with the linehaul as a company driver, actually, get out of the business altogether if you can......the lease purchase gig is a bad choice. research that in itself!

    I have worked for Minn-Tex for 11 years. Great company!! Many drivers have paid there trucks off and either kept them or traded for newer. Great lanes to run, I go to the same placed all the time. Pretty much all customer freight, so I know where I am going. The owner Ed is almost 80 and is still out here with us!! He knows how we feel and is a straight shooter!! Love the company, we are like one big family!
