Minnesota is a no fault insurance state. The deductible is on the one crying foul..don’t like it get a policy with a lower deductible or none at all.

If you don’t understand about qualified immunity do some research. You might be surprised how many states haven’t rejected the federal law. For the ones thinking it’s because of the state color you’re going to feel foolish once you educate yourself.

Anymore dumpster fires I need to put out today?

My first reply to you reads a little on the rough side. I wasn’t trying for it to sound that way and only quoted you because you seem reasonable with a sound mind.

Lol, was just trying to minimize the chance of being put on his banned list for my failure to proofread. Kind of reads like I was being a beach :)

@Suspect Zero "Her insurance totaled the vehicle, told her it was because one of the air bags went off. No longer deemed a safe vehicle." A total crock of ... by the insurance company. Yet they will insure that same vehicle if it is repaired whether it had a salvage title or not. Many cars with popped air bags go to auction and many are put back on the road.
@mjd4277 "...prohibitively expensive to replace, especially if they’re tied into the SRS systems." A Honda airbag is about $800 - 900 discounted online through a dealer. Takes about 15 minutes to replace. There is also an impact module and seat belts have an explosive charge in them. But they don't have to be replaced. A few companies found online will reset the module and replace the charge in the seat belt for about $120 for both. The companies have to be licensed by ATF to do the seat belt repairs.
No wonder insurance rates are so high.

There’s more to it than just the airbags. And that’s just the front airbags. Nowadays vehicles are also equipped with side airbags (typically curtain style) and some airbags are also “two stage” smart airbags which will deploy based on the severity of the impact. It’ll also depend on if the pertaining seat is occupied (sensors in the seat that detect if there’s a passenger).
Those $800-$900 airbags that you can get discounted will sell for DOUBLE that where I live because Honda parts are popular on the black market(surcharges on Hondas and Toyota vehicles are common where I live).
You also have to factor in bodywork on the vehicle itself(paint, replacement body panels, etc.), and labor for that isn’t exactly going to be discounted, unless you go with knockoff parts.

Oh, look...another diversity hire strikes again! You don't seriously expect the mob to go against itself; do you? Too many people seem to think the system is in place for their own best interest. It's not. The system is in place to keep the cage around you operating.
