They actually equal about the same. take the examply of the time that it takes to set up to unload, then unload, then tear town and get to the next stop and set up again. Then imagine doing this in the winter in the dakotas. Our trailers are set up with a new decking system that is all on runners on the side of the trailer.

Yes, you will still make good money. after you get done with the down payment and go full settlement, you will start to make good money. You can bring the wife. We also use TA for fuel and get some good discounts. Some of them up to .30 off a gallon.

I just received a call from Mary telling me I've been approved to come out and start. I'm going in as a lease driver does this mean I'll have electronic logs?:biggrin_25510: Is the equiptmentr they have on line for lease in good shape? I'm full of ?'s on this end. I'm planning on getting there first part of next week, Living in sc and seeing they have alot of east coast freight looks like I'll be happy here.:biggrin_25514:
Any and all help about these folks would be appreciated.

Wait until you see the contract and you see that before you even walk out the door, you are already in the hole as far as payments. After 6 months I was still in the hole as far as the payments, and the $6,000 deposit did not even start being taken out yet. If you have QC, you are electronic logs, and if you are not deck, you will be seeing pretty much nothing but MN to the SE. The trucks, well, depends on what is available when you are there.

That's right, they put you one month behind on lease payment from day one.

I would never go anywhere unless I could read the contract before I even decided to go.
If they will not send you a copy before hand, then run away as fast as you can. That goes for any company!

This is a company that doesn't care about us driver's all the owner want's is to sell us on a promise for a better tomarrow in what I call his set to fail program there has been over 200 drivers quit transport 21 lease program in the last 2 years.myself and many many other's have complained to the owner and the staff at minstar-transport 21 and still nothing has changed to help us drivers and why should it the owner of this company is making alot of free money to have you try his program knowing that within 6 months you will most likely quit leaveing him all your deposit money that you had built up.I have drove for this company as a lease purchase driver and a company driver and neither one worked for me! I have alot more to say about this but for now I will leave saying. If you have a house payment or rent childsupport credit cards or any other bill's then don't go with this company you will not be able to make enough money to take home there for you will be set to fail from the beginning.this lease purchase program should be investicated by the state of mn and by federal law.anyone want's to know more about my expeirence at this BAD!! company look me up on here I will be happy to tell you more.
