Mirror broke: help company in the wrong, don’t know what to do.

Section 393.80 of the FMCSRs requires every bus, truck, and truck tractor to be equipped with two rear-vision mirrors, one at each side, firmly attached to the outside of the motor vehicle, and so located as toreflect to the driver a view of the highway to the rearalong both sides of the vehicle.

 

First time I drove a VolvoWhite cabover, I bent the passenger mirror on a toll booth on 294, in Chicago. Good thing the Mrs was with me, she was able to bend it back close enough to use.

 

Proof again that the womenfolk can be very usefull, besides the cooking and cleaning etc.

If he felt unsafe driving the additional 100 miles, he should not have driven the first 200 in the first place
