Hey guys, I'm sure this question has been asked a million times on this website but how do you specific asking for a specific truck. Okay I have a 2004 Peterbilt 387 with a cat 13 eng. My issue is the mirror defrost/ heater not working. I've checked all three fuse boxes that I can find on the thing there's no owners manual in the truck by the way. And I cannot find a spot marked "mirror" on the diagrams at all. Would anybody know where this fuse or relay would be.? Is it controlled by fuse or is it controlled by a relay? By the way, when do you flip the switch up the green circle light on the bottom of the switch does not light up like it does on the other buttons . Could we switch problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Most likely the heating element in the mirror is burned out. My truck has 60k miles and on it's second set of mirrors

I was hoping that would be the last case scenario. Of course this one got 1,394,412 right now miles that is so it's bound to go out sometime right around that time frame lol

If both mirrors are not defrosting, my guess you got a blown fuse/relay. If you have one mirror defrosting and the other one not, I'd agree with the other guy, burned up mirror heating element.
If you have no schematic to follow, take a test light and probe each fuse until you find one blown. Just remember, it blew for a reason, you may have a short in the wire. Not a big deal, just means you'll have to dig a bit deeper to find the issue. Take Care

them switches are in a bad place, could have moisture getting into it, find those wires and either jump it with temp toggle or test to see
