Mis-matched Teams (Exp.)

This may be listed somewhere else on here (I searched and couldn't find it).


I was talking over the advice I got with my cousin who drove for 5 yrs OTR (2 yrs team with my uncle/his dad). He said he was interested in getting back into running OTR as a team (he has been off the road for 2 yrs). He suggested that we could make a good team and it would be great for me to have an experienced driver there with me at all times (it sounded good to me).

My questions is...Would a company consider training me to drive team with someone who is more expereienced that I? Would they rather have two experienced guys on the truck so one would not slow the other down?
