I actually agree with you. It's not the shippers, receivers, or brokers responsibilty. But this guy needs help trying to find an amicable solution, not someone just trollin

That’s what I was going to ask.. I’d find a secure place to unload it and then let it sit in limbo until after litigation settled it.

My luck it would be a load of tampons :)

Actually I’d dump it in a landfill..

Yes, its the carriers fault the truck broke down. But it is completely unreasonable to refuse to take delivery for weeks after a missed appointment, a few days, sure, need to find an opening. Is this the first time the receiver has had a missed appointment? Probably not. Thats how business works, something goes wrong you find a solution, not try to screw the guy out of spite.

You could suffer a psychotic break and take the load to the broker's, have a forklift and pallet jack delivered, and stack it around his car and the door to the office as well.

If you're going to get put on a list, you may as well be at the top of it.

Don’t forget to make a You-Tube and Tik-Tok video.. Could make some decent cash sitting at home.

10 to 1 that if that shipment sits for that whole month that it will be forgotten about anyway. And the only folks that got paid are the shipper and broker. That is why they don’t care about it now. If the receiver is going to be stupid and not find a slot to unload within a day or two then they don’t care either and most likely the dc isn’t going to even notice it never came in. Only someone in purchasing a month or two later. Then written off.
