Lol! Every time I've gone to oregon, and Washington, they give me a red light and electric signs to enter the scale even when the open/close sign says close. My last run through I had a over length load, and every scale gave me a green light and electric sign told me to bypass, yet permit said, enter open scales, no matter what prepass says. I guess it may be thier lazy way of checking if I have a permit.
