I'm assuming the trailer was made before spring brakes...?

Mistakes showing you as a rookie:

Coming on TTR and thinking everyone will jump on board your brilliant idea of truckers banding together and shutdown to protest anything. be it fuel, taxes, regulations etc.

Taking all your airlines and electrical line off the trailer, let the landing gear down, then attempt to pull away from the trailer.

Taking your precious time pulling into one of your first dock doors by yourself. Opening doors, breaking seal, everythings good. Turn BOL in, they start unloading. 1 hr later they come out and let you know you were in the door next to your assigned one, and luckily for you they were so gracious to still unload you.

Making a right turn around a light pole at a small intersection. Watching your trailer very closely as you will have only inches to spare. Then bumping something in front you ...

Putting it in 3rd gear instead of reverse, can be quite scary if your pull as far forward as possible, prepare to back, and then jump forward.

Getting a green light on the prepass but still entering because the digital signs tell you to. DOT officers will even let you know your a rookie for that one.

Going to slide tandems, they don't work. Some reason air keeps pushing the valve back in. Spend 10m trying to invent ways to keep the valve out, finally to realize you didn't release the trailer air.

Walking back to your truck with a bunch of shiny overpriced ding dongs from the local T/S thinking your a big boy now.

This thread makes me feel a small bit better lolol ....

davetiow, jshkorn, JR80 and 1 other person Thank this.
