    Hey all.
I just went to take my Hazmat test but was told by the DMV I needed to take an online class before I could test.
In WI I had hazmat.... walked in. Took the test. No big deal.

I can't find anything in the MN dmv page that says I have to take an online class.
    Anyone have any input?

Thank you. Thank you. I didn't see that anywhere.
    More BS. Unreal.
Looks like I might dodge a bullet. If you had hazmat before and can provide the MVR, your grandfathered.

For future reference, MN does have a grandfather clause. About 5 years ago they required this online class.
If you were previously endorsed with Hazmat they will allow you to test with proof of the hazmat endorsement.
In my case, I provided the mvr from the state I was previously endorsed. Once presented I was allowed to test today.

Thanks all for taking the time to answer and post links.

But if you were flip-flops and speak 49 different languages they will just hand it over in MN

You don't have to speak that many languages. One is fine as long as it's not English.

The state really isn't bad. It's just the cities. Like anywhere else. I'm from southern New England, so it could be worse.

    tscottme and Cdemars316 Thank this.

The rest of the state is fine, but I cringe every time I have to go in and out of the cities

    How? The suburbs are overrun.
Rochester and St. Cloud are Somalian strongholds now
Duluth is the most liberal place in the state
The iron range is a dump
South and west are basically Iowa and not worth going to. The place is ruined
