I just have one quick question. I'm still a few years away from getting anything of my own started seeing that I have alot of research to do. My question is: Would it be better to start out as an OTR O/O in Atlanta,Ga or St. Louis,Mo? I live in Ga now but have also lived in Mo and I would be more than willing to move back if needed. I just want to know if there are any regional benefits to starting up in one over the other. Thank you in advance for any input.
Mo or GA?

both are good. ATL is good if you want to run that region. The gateway would be better if you want to run coast to coast mabey. When I ran produce I lived south of ATL in Griffin. I wish I lived in the gateway then since everything I ran was AZ or CA to MI

Anybody ever attended or sent there wife to Freight Brokerage courses/schools? Seems like it would be well worth the investment. I don't know how helpful it would be but it seems like you would have more insight on how to contact/secure shippers.

I think most wives of owner operators do quite a bit of dispatching
