Well the new status is not something I asked for but still asking what mod status means. If just here on the forum great but if out on the road any meaning I would like to know. Thanks.....

where are you seeing that or where did you hear that ? I've never heard it before? Fill us in will ya? What are you talking about exactly?

If you are talking about what I think you are, it is the title of a forum moderator. These are the good folks who keep an eye on things here on the forum and slap folks around a little if they get out of line!
You might want to take a look at the FAQ section in the blue tool bar, or header bar, or whatever it is that folks who know about these things call that little blue bar that has the words "User CP" "Donate" "FAQ" "Members List" etc. -
