Thats not what he asked. And by the way, when cabovers were common, you were still crapping in your diapers kid.

I dont know of any companies that run cabovers.

The last cabovers that the pumpkins had weren't that bad. IH made a very minimal doghouse compared to other COEs. But for new fleets, I have not seen any.

There is a company in CA that runs NEW Green Freighliner Cabovers, most have a drom box behind the cab. Some one will chime in with the name. I've been running east and havent seen one in a while.

Dont know much about COE's do ya AT ? Try looking at what other countries use and you will see cab overs are far from a "thing of the past". The reason they are not common in the USA anymore is because there is no limit on the wheelbase length of the tractor in the USA. Most countries have a maximum length limit for the wheelbase of the tractor or a maximum overall length that limits the use of conventional long WB tractors as the shorter WB COE allows maximum trailer length and therefore maximises cargo capacity. Look up some Australian rigs and you will see brand spanking new Kenworth K100's pulling payloads that would make your little Watkins Shepard pos buckle at the knees in fear!!

I had a chance to drive an old IH COE. Rode smooth, but a bit unnerving thinking you would fall forward if you hit the the brakes too hard (I know, kind of silly, but the first time feels that way)

I'll tell you, some of the places I delivered and loaded at in Chicago, and LA I would have GLADLY switched over to a COE.
