Moible Home Toter

After a couple years of experience I didn't haul any units with setup material inside. Furniture, but no stand alone freezers. Too many soft floors and the appliance would break thru the floor.

 

Thanks Stubby for the tread. Great reading and insight to hauling mobile homes. Looking to get started in mobile home toting myself real soon.

 

What's the starting pay range for a company toter driver with delivery/setup included of mobile homes?

 

they send container loads of 10:00 X 20 bias ties over for the container chassis sill using will-pops.

Cute names like 'Snow King' and 'Leopard'...

Two of our customers are Falken Tires and Hancook Tires..

 

From my understanding, most toter drivers work for a percentage of load. Per mile rate varies greatly on region and season. I do not touch set up or prep. Most of the houses I haul are from the factory.

 

There is/was a company in Salem, IL that does conversions for mobile home otters.
