The diner next to the Pilot in Pine Grove, PA is pretty good.

No, not that Pilot. The other Pilot. Across the street.

They have Pilots across the street from each other? Is that even allowed?

All I can tell you is this.

IF you see braking marks for a left turn or a fast dip into a property that might be a big spot around back for rigs to eat. Hop in there and see how the food is.

When I am in the Amish Country I look for those brake marks on quiet roads as a sign to slow it down so that she dont go sideways on gravel getting in around back. It has not failed me yet.

Or just follow the horse and buggy "exhaust" trail down the road.

If youre ever hauling pressure treated lumber out of stony point NC on 90, the captains galley seafood and the pizza box are across the street. Fit a dozen trucks. Dairy bar a bit north will fit 2. Seafood was decent.

Usually happens when one of the PFJs is an old Wilco-Hess (which PFJ bought) or an old mom-and-pop operation that PFJ bought or an old mom-and-pop operation that became a PFJ affiliate.

Wytheville, VA, has three PFJs at two consecutive exits (77 and 80), including two right across the freeway from one another. One used to be a Wilco-Hess.

I-95, Exit 104, just north of Richmond, VA has two PFJs on either side of the freeway.

I know there is more than one location with PFJs right across the street from each other, but Pine Grove is the only one I can recall specifically.

Any stockyard that has a diner.
Brush Colorado and the Oklahoma City stockyards come to mind.
