Moms Restaurant, Franklin OH, I75 exit 36 east of the Pilot and McDs. Since the gas station reopened the new owners now charge to park overnight. I just park at the McD and walk.

Jenny's Diner Rt 30 Lancaster PA. A large lot full of pull thru parking and it's free. Good lil diner that serves gigantic pancakes. When I lived up there for a while a bunch of us would meet up there for breakfast and all get 3 pancakes. Whoever couldn't finish em got stuck with the bill.... usually we all failed lol.

On the west side of Union Springs AL there’s s good bbq joint called 82 West. Gravel pullout to the east of the cafe with room for a couple trucks.

    Schoolhouse Calf-A in Dell MT.

    Holopaw Cafe in Holopaw FL

That’s all I got for now.

Yeah they had grocery type items too so people would be more apt to buy their over going in town. I thoroughly enjoyed stopping their running back east across 30.

I do truly appreciate the stories but lets please keep the thread on topic so a driver can quickly scroll through and maybe find a joint to leave some wages behind at. Thats my goal here.

If youre on PA80 headed for upstate or heaven forbid, new england, and have the time... Take 64 as a shortcut to 220 toward lockport. Theres a pilot as soon as you get off 80 onto 64 and a mcdonalds truck only lot. Park at pilot and walk across the street. Great little restaurant, google maps only says "cottage" so im not sure what its called. For the full blown leaf peeper epic relaxing route, run 15 [great road] up into elmira then 86 to 88 to 90 and avoid that disgusting place they call the GW. Beacon Bridge is the only toll, on a 5axle its $12 or so, then obviously the mass pike tolls start at Lee.

sassys truckstop diner on NY219 @86 in carrollton is good. Very cheap fuel too compared to PA. Some cute staff. The 219 is a decent road for legal loads, just a little choppy. 86 is great.

On 81 north of scranton, skip the J and go to the old "penn can" truckstop diner at exit 217. Oversize can park on the northbound getoff ramp for food. Maybe this is some of you boys pictured there. Thats 2 beams in a row parked for lunch. Probably a rare thing to get osow that close to the diner.

  8. by the old Outpost is still there after all those years the place for eating and getting gas..
I knew what pilot bought it they lost after property but I haven't been out there in about six and a half years I didn't know if it was still standing or not..
always liked that place before the pilot even built it one of my other place favorites was out in Barstow up the road from all the truck stops on 15 the old Jenny Rose Cafe spent many a time out there..that's where Sheryl Crow photoshoot for her album Tuesday night music Club back about 1993 back of the album shows it too. the Jenny Rose Cafe

  10. hungry House i-44 Missouri. sarcoxie I believe..
star 66 Cafe unbelievably amazing. Springfield Illinois i-55 exit number 100 in the road ranger independently owned been there forever back in the old citgo days before Road Ranger bought it
four corners truck stop and restaurant ainsworth Iowa..
Red Apple restaurant Peru Illinois i-80 exit 73 can either park at the speedway or Sapp Brothers and walk right across the street
the clock in Ottawa Illinois inside the shell truck stop great Greek restaurant menu with everything under the sun.
one more inside the road ranger although I hate to say it is failing and it's not what it used to be but it still a crap shoot but the odds are pretty good you'll get a decent meal is old junie's up there at elk Run heights Iowa or they call it evansdale Iowa interstate 380 exit 68 just south of Waterloo..
lots of the guys picking up a Tyson like the trash around there
a fantastic one most people probably have never gone to try it sometime and amazing truck parking at night time if you want Interstate 74 just to the west of Bloomington before Peoria is the goodfield restaurant.
and if you're cooking just a little bit to the East on 74 out of Bloomington across from the loves at Leroy Woody's another fantastic facility Interstate 74 exit 148.
another great one down there at the shady lawn truck stop just past the scale if you're going northbound in the Tennessee Alabama great home cooking I love the tenderloin and eggs there lots of parking good place old place but treat you real good used to have the old stripclub Jim's boobie bungalow but it closed up right next door..
while there's many more these are ones that I frequent and I still enjoy..

Yoders country market on 11w toward bulls gap TN. Its not a restaurant but it is a completely free overnight truck parking spot a few miles off 40 that sells a huge variety of old time country candies and such. No dumping pee bottles and tires, im hesitant to even post it because the spot is so clean. Locals police their own up there so dont be a jerk.

Pall mall tennessee, Up 127 toward kentucky at the 200 split [dont take the 200, caney creek rd] is the pall mall general store. Rocking chairs worn into the floor by the daily old timers convention. Real good deli sandwiches and lunch stuff made on the spot. Room for 2 trucks to park across the street. 127 gets tight above the store but its do-able.

    Intothesunset Thanks this.
