    Yep this is the answer.
That woman is a moron. And now she wants to be paid for her neglect. She is basically saying I left my kids in the car for Walmart to watch over without telling them and Walmart failed. Smfh

    Except a fire extinguisher.

I have 4 personal vehicles - the AWD SUV has 1, the off-road 4x4 has 2, the van has 2, and the RV has 3.

It was 7 am in broad daylight. She should never leave kids in the car alone. Though she could not have had known the van she parked next to would catch fire, I don't see WalMart being responsible. She just couldn't get any money out of the people with the van.

I would think other states have similar laws. The woman is at fault no matter what. They should not have been left alone. There has been plenty of times in Texas were running cars have been stolen and kids inside have been kidnapped never to be found.

I looked up Minnasota, no such laws in place.

I did see this, in some local Mn publication, and I thoroughly despise the guilt-rhrowing :

We've all thought about it, or maybe even done it.

You just have to run inside the post office real quick or pick up a child at preschool and you've got kids in carseats and you think, "Wouldn't it just be easier to just run in and leave them buckled in for just a minute?"

No, I most certainly without a doubt not for one iota of a miniscule thought pondered such a notion.

My children were with her/I/us at all times without fail, they are my CHILDREN!!

This is how you lose the ability to park at Walmart.

Because they aren't going to monitor ####.
