That's 10 years ago.
Hundreds of tanker truckers were needed to run day and night to the gas rigs by the dozen. Pipe lines were built in certain areas, to attempt to support the east coast should St Louis and Memphis is reduced to rubble in the next big one.
Many homeowners sold mineral rights without knowing what they were doing.
Day and night gas trucks rolled by our house into a town for Searcy or VIlonia.
Sometimes they crash at a particular curve that goes around a HUD housing complex about twice a year. The property fencing keeps these trucks from rolling THROUGH the buildings killing low income people and many children.
Should I care to continue.
You can tell by the amount of trucks day and night how our overall economy is doing. In good times we have trucks everywhere rolling. In bad years when the gas (Natural and shale) declines there is a whole bunch of worn out gas trucks for sale at the auction house in little rock. When good times pick up again, they buy more. Until the next bust.
20 years ago we were a dead county. Nothing at all. Maybe a bit of cattle a spot of hay. Small busineses dying left and right to be replaced by pawn shops and thrift stores. When Shale showed up and made a play for our County along with a string of others, the economy changed to good times.
Maye this rewritten post broken up into simple paragraphs will help comprehend, maybe not. I don't know. If you don't think the material is revelant or useful, you can select the handle an then select ignore in the pop up box. And you would not have to deal with me again. It does not hurt my feelings none. That is what the list is there for.
I think that the age of Twitter, telling in two sentences is causing a problem for the old ones like myself. People do not want to sit and read a while. Or put up with old fashioned English anymore. But don't worry or stress about me, In a enough time event that will pass on when I do. But until then, I don't expect to change trying to share what little I know of something to anyone. (Which means I know even less now. Friends have taken the time to educate me and correct me with things that needed it from time to time. Learn something new everyday) -
