You definitely need to cover your own ###. One way or another.

Funny. Dave Ramsey is kinda my guilty pleasure in the truck. Haven't missed more than a few hours since he started doing pod casts six years ago. I know, I know. Still better than listening to the political talking heads radio.

He's very open about his history, and discusses his financial journey often on the program. And yes, he's a bit of a braggart.

He's never mentioned a second bankruptcy. He does, OFTEN, mention that he has never, ever, borrowed any money since his first bankruptcy.

Which kinda makes your assertion that he filed bankruptcy twice, well, shall I say implausible?

Since you are so blatantly wrong about the first statement you make in your post I quoted above, I suggest that the advise portion of your post should be read with that in mind.

    Am I wrong? Really now.

I’ve explained to you the reason for the original post, in detail. And why I made the post.

But somehow, Dave Ramsey knows more about bottom feeding trucking companies than someone who has actually worked in the industry for over 30 years?

I didn’t bring Dave up, others did. His advice is meaningless to a starving man with a family to feed. Who may not have 2 nickels to rub together.

But go right ahead and stay mad LOL You wear it well.

Praise Jesus for cash :) Send me more.

I haven't looked, but can you buy products off Ramsey's website using credit cards?

    Why, yes you are.

Yes, yes you did. And it was poor advise.

Red herring. You made assertions about Dave Ramsey's history in an failed attempt to discredit his advice. Apparently, both of you have gone bankrupt. Ramsey is a multi-millionaire. I'm going to say Ramsey's policy after bankruptcy worked way better than yours; which makes his advice more valuable than yours.

What utter nonsense. Ramsey's plan works just fine for broke people.

There's a term in psychology called "projection", which describes how people tend to ascribe their own emotions and motivations to others. It fits well, here.

    Thanks, I was just wondering.

But I could buy one of his books at Wal-Mart using my credit card if I wanted I suppose.
