Yes Manchester mainly but some of the areas around theres as well. Id been to TN many times when I started driving but that area really stuck out after going to Bonnaroo a few times and getting off the concert grounds to go out and drive the area. Nickajack Lake in the summer, to me is how I picture heaven. Ok, thats a little much but that general stretch. We started out looking closer to Nashville but with the boom there the last few years prices are a bit high and we dont want to be so crowded anymore. I grew up in the boonies in South Jersey so Im looking to get back to that type of area. No state income tax is appealing too.

I run entertainment and with so much of the gear coming out of Nashville, that general area is not a bad place to live. Its got alot of appeal for me anyway. Have an aunt that lives in Bybee, nice for me but too remote for my better half.

The fact of the matter is that many people will always spend whatever cash they have and will be relying on credit and no amount of preaching about going cash only will sway them because they know they will have no cash at various times and still need to buy things.
Years ago I read that the average American spent $1.04 for every $1.00 that they earned.
Then there is a small group of people who are naturally averse to spending money and have no problem hanging on to it. When they need to buy something they will most likely have the money for it. (Excepting houses, cars and other big ticket items)
To them, buying the item on credit is nonsensical and you will not change their minds.
Misers are a thing. There's just not that many of them.
A refusal to spend money can also become a problem.
A balance in the middle between spending it all and keeping almost all of it is probably the healthiest for people.
In my opinion, anyone who is not a miser and does not have a written monthly budget that they mostly stick to is a childish fool. Misers don't need it and they know where every penny goes off the top of their head.
There are a lot of childish fools out there. -

The stats are actually quite the opposite. Immigrants are four times as likely to be millionaires than natives. And actually, one in THREE immigrants and first generation Americans are millionaires. So I'd say you home grown slackers better start picking up the pace, 'cause the immigrants are tired of you dragging the average down.....
Immigrants Are Four Times More Likely To Become Millionaires by Author Mark J. Quann -
Ok, you're going to compare your capitalist country to my communist country? You win, every time.
The immigration situation in Canada is not even close. We prefer non-producing degenerates from vastly different cultures. The situation here is similar to what is happening in Europe. The ones who don't produce for themselves go looking for the most generous country that will feed, clothe and house them. Sweden is a prime example. Keep going, even though we are safe in Germany, France, whatever, the best benefits are in Sweden. And look what it's become. I don't want to see that happen to my country. Whenever I say anything like this I get jumped on and that I have it all wrong, Sweden is a socialist paradise and nothing ever bad happens there. I suppose if it isn't on CNN then it must be fake news. -
This thread is edging dangerously close to becoming political. If the members can keep the politics out of this discussion the thread can stay open.
If not, the thread will be moved to the Political forum. I'm sure nobody wants that.
