If you are a car hauler I highly recommend that you knock on the door of Moore transport because they are still seeking more drivers.
I remember back in February and March of 2016 when I was considering jumping on with them.
If you look at the history of my post you will see that I have been there since April of 2016 and I have no complaints. I started in April and I was given a new truck in October.
Every once in awhile I have to drive some long deadhead miles that I frown on but it really doesn't happen very often at all. They pay a minimum of $1.01 per mile. Shorter runs you get paid more and I believe it is a dollar fifty per mile out of Lordstown.
So far I have no complaints.
Moore Transport is Great.

I was just chatting with a Moore driver last week. He had nothing but good things to say.
They must be good if two drivers in a row like them lol. -

Were you by any chance stopped at a hotel off I64 in central VA and stopped to talk to a guy working on getting his CDL out in the lot, before his boss came out looking for him?

Still going well for ya there, man? I love reading "positivity" once in awhile on TTR, LoL.

Not sure how many they require. Car hauling is like no other field. You're always top heavy and so you have to really have your driving in order.
First year is slow because it takes time to learn how to roll them vehicles on and off without damging. And there will be damages along the way. I've been doing this a long time and I got careless on day recently and damaged 2 BMW.
Car haulers for the most part are a tight community. Most are always willing to help or answer questions. Car hauling gets in your blood and probably pays better than any other freight out there. -
Yeah, dude I talked to definitely loved his job, and he couldn't stop talking about the money. Is $3600 a week really doable with that kind of work, or was he just blowing smoke? I might just give them a call today after class, I just don't want to waste anyone's time if it won't even be a question.

If he is a company driver, no way. Not sure what rate Moore pays O/O's.
I run as hard as I can form Sumday to Friday and my average weekly gross is between $1500-$1800 and I stay in a hotel every night too. It varies every week.
I actually made better back in 2000. I was taking home nearly $2.000.00 a weekLast edited: Jun 24, 2017
