Everything will be fine as long as the world has confidence in the American dollar the world's reserve currency.
Wealthy people in a country with an unstable currency flee to the American dollar. But all fiat currencies have a lifespan.
China, Russia and many other countries have been preparing for the fall of the American dollar for many years by buying gold and lately buying food.

Yeah I dont really care about new vehicles. They're status symbols. Nobody really needs a new car they just want one. When the used market cools back down your best buy will again be the 2 to 3 year old slightly used vehicle when you need a replacement.

As far as the food shortage thing goes I think they're saying Ukraine and Russia produce about a third of the world's wheat. And they produce a lot of sunflower that is made into cooking oil. They're not doing any farming right now they're busy fighting so yeah a food shortage and skyrocketing prices are coming. You think prices are bad now but you aint seen nothing yet.

Lumber is back to Covid pricing. I took a glance while waiting in line at Home Depot. Drywall is higher than when I bought some during covid.
