IRRELEVANT! for truckin radio's
The 411 is there if you just have to know, but its "Drama" most adults dont bother with . . . . .
-
try about 1/2 of ONE S unit ...
No it's FACTS that you can't get around -
Put two guys out at the same distance from you with the same antenna setup etc, Who do you think will get heard and understood better. The guy with the extra 1/2 S unit or the guy without the extra 1/2 S unit? -

However under 99% of conditions it will make little deference. The other problem will be any chance in antenna systems can make that much change in signal as a rule 3DB or 1/2 of one s unit is the smallest change you can hear.
I would not buy a radio if this is all i would get .... -
An amp that uses 2 transistors, or "pills". The transistors look like oversized Tylenol tablets.
Here's a few examples...Attached Files:
Quicker Thanks this. -

IT . . . . .IS . . .STILL. . . . . IRRELEVANT to those that run radio's in their trucks for traditional communication.
The whole platform is a Competition Build, they are excellent stand alone performers as well as excellent drivers for straight pill amps.
WE OF THE DARK SIDE like this type of audio performance
That be the only FACT that matters in "this world"
Sorry Bruce,RST and calibrated S meters do not fit the needs or requirements of todays truck driver.
:big~kiss:
I :rooted: my Infuse 4G,bet thats hard to accept too........ call AT$T see if they care

Does a radio with an rfx need to be wired to the battery or is it self contained.
