Nah, its not that bad! I do get quite the work out each and every day....three to four times every day... :biggrin_25525:

I will say this tho, if you wanna do flatbed, you ARE GUARANTEED to be in better shape physically very soon after you start.

Thanks Captain. I'm not worried about the BP but was very worried about that box. I'm 6' and 285 but do have some upper body strength.
I'm supposed to be starting June 16th.I also am type 2 that is under control with pills.
One question does anyone know if a sleep apena machine can be plugged into a trainers truck?
And a big thank you to all the Maverick Drivers and all the info they post it has been very helpful.
Okay one more question,in the email sent to me from recuiter he told me what to bring to NLR and one of the things on the list was a cb radio. Why would I need a radio for training and out for 3 weeks with a trainer?

My recruiter told me that I would not have to worry about the cb radio until about the last week that I was out with my Trainer.

Maverick wants to install your CB into your truck. That is the reason they ask you to bring it...

The "BOX" wasnt bad as you have two folded up tarps that you can use as steps to climb up into the box. In my class, there was an older gentleman (I'd guess mid 50's) who was already a maverick driver who was taking the physical over for some reason. He was out of shape and no upper body strength, reminded me of my dad, lol. Took him 3-4 tries and stacking the tarps just right for him to get up but EVERYONE else made it up with very little effort...

I heard the TCD drivers chase live chickens around the yard as part of their agility test!
