Beautiful!! ...29 at Avoca iowa tonight.
I'm so dam tired of hot weather here I hope it snows .
Been a miserable summer .

 

Sorry buddy but we better get some moisture this winter!
Agriculture and meat production depends on it and the Mississippi and Missouri River basins are extremely low .
Noticed at davenport iowa crossing the Mississippi on 280 that the wetlands in the flood plain are brown from lack of water.
The mighty mo at omaha is so low there are things showing out of the water that haven't been seen in decades.
The platte river at Columbus Nebraska is completely dry .
The Illinois River at Peoria isn't looking good either .
All the smaller rivers in iowa that feed the Mississippi and Missouri are a trickle.

You might wanna try deer hunting instead lol.
I used to hunt the public hunting areas along 29 in iowa which were productive years ago , most of those small lakes and ponds were from holes being dug out when 29 was built for dirt for overpasses and to build up the roadway ...soiux city to the Missouri line is loaded with public hunting areas and well marked .
