Funny I just listened to a Tom T tune last night.
Back when all we had were those am stations to listen to at night alot of his music got me to sun up.
He wrote That's how I got to Memhis but most know him from old dogs kids and watermelon wine or I like beer..lol

Look up his song about a " week in a country jail ." ...not really a bad Tom T song and some very educational.

Yep just played it. Love it. Love everything about it. Touching on what you guys are saying about radio back in the day, I remember goin with my dad in his rig when I las little and it’d be like 1 in the morning and there was a program on and I can’t for the life of me think of the name. “At Night” maybe. Or something i dunno. They’d play music then people would call in like saying they saw ufos. It was weird. I just remember between that, it being 1 am and me comin down off my Mountain Dew high and the whistle of the CAT engine, I didn’t provide very good company for long and I was sawing logs, hitting my head on the window waking up swearing I wasn’t falling asleep.

I think that would have been Art Bell. I used to listen to KOA in Denver (680?), 640 in Los Angeles, some station out of Oklahoma, and one out of Casper. Between those four I could almost always get one of them running between Montana and California, but once in awhile the only thing I could get would be Art Bell talking about aliens or time travel or something like that. The old cassette suitcase usually came out then!
