    I’m surprised that fcc would be grumpy I thought you never bad mouthed them you just didn’t want to live in the truck. I thought you were trying to leave on polite terms but I see they can bring the chicken excrement with the rest of the 2nd rate company’s.

    Well let's not trash FCC and take the high road , they are still top notch for otr but yes the way that was handled was pretty chicken sqaut ...also for what expenses they have I get it so max utilization needs to be achieved.
    It just don't won't for me and the fact they are spying on social media posts from they're drivers is bothersome.

    That you will ...I finally got the short end of the stick on a mower lol..against my better judgment I went to north O this morning and picked a mower that I offered 25.00 on , it was very clean but I noticed the wheels on it were wore out so threw it in the pick up without any argument ( ever been to 42nd st and Bedford ave ? DONT ! ) and got the hell outa there .
    Got home and noticed it had fresh gas it but almost no oil so I topped it off and that's when I tried to start it noticing it turned over very hard ...why ? Because someone had already robbed the bail handle and the cable that goes to the flywheel brake from it .
    So I tied the brake back and tried again noticing the knocking noise and that it was backfiring thru the carb , so I pulled the valve cover and none of the valves were out of adjustment...also notice the intake valve was not opening all the way.
    That's when I noticed someone had the governor zip tied wide open cleverly hidden under the engine cover .
    I suspect a bent push rod due to the governor issue and a spun rod bearing from low oil.
    In the shed it goes for parts and no more north O deals .

    You're right, this is a public forum, anyone can come and look, so it isn't spying. No, wait... actually, you're right, but personally, I don't agree with that, even though I know you're right. It's like having the latest and greatest invasive artificial intelligence nanny cam watching your every move all day in the truck then also having it watch your every move after you're done working and are at home.

    We all come here on our own personal time to discuss whatever we want to discuss, mostly work/company related issues, vent, get advice, learn about things, whatever....

    How the hell can we do that openly and honestly if the threat of big brother, or in this case, big business, looms over us holding our jobs over our heads if we say something they don't like?

    He was leaving anyway, so they just expedited the process. Don't know if they had said anything prior to him announcing that he was leaving.

    I know, I was talking more in generalities. It's like I said, you''re absolutely right, this is a forum open to anybody, and they have a right to be here same as we do, I just don't agree with companies lurking around. I know my thinking is flawed, I just can't change it.
