I'd only drive that fast under perfect conditions when empty and it was an experiment to see how stupid people are .
My preferred speed is 62 to64 mph and not to down on company drivers but they don't care about cost per mile or wear on equipment and rubber .
Had a company truck pass me in Wisconsin this morning that I know was flat on the floor at 70 with a beer load from Milwaukee and he didn't even slow down for curves .
When you own the truck it's a different ball game

It's an unusual night in north omaha Nebraska.
73 degrees and very low humidity Ac off !
Brats on the grill sitting on the deck and no bugs ..
I think my ethic for yard maintenance is rubbing off here as some of my neighbors are taking much better care of theyre yards .IH Truck Guy, austinmike, 4mer trucker and 4 others Thank this. -

I think my plan of buying a new yard machine to replace the 40 year old jd 111 is getting canceled ...it runs so nice and so tight but the deck needs rebuilt soon.
I know 111s arnt collectable and this one is already repowered with a 14hp briggs .
New stuff seems to be junk and I know a guy in Cresent iowa that will make the deck new .
What would you do ? Rebuild or buy new ?austinmike, Shock Therapy, Dale thompson and 3 others Thank this. -
If you like the thing rebuild it. Gotta be a lot cheaper than anything new too.

What is the deck size? 42", 48"?
