    I like old reliable stuff. I just spent $220 ten minutes ago on dryer parts because I want to keep what I have. It’s simple, no frills. This same type dryer is almost $600 today.

    I did that last Thursday with my girlfriend!! The new model was to expensive :(

    Chances are your machine would outlast anything made today.

    It’s only 9 years old. But a very old design. I can rebuild it for less than a new one.

    I kept our washer going for awhile. I finally said screw it and bought a new one. Told the appliance guy I didn’t want any electronic front load crap. Watched my parents waste a lot of money on that stuff and it never lasted. Expensive repairs. I don’t believe in the water saving BS, especially when it comes to washing clothes, hands or flushing toilets.
