I had to recover a trailer last year from an impound lot, JB hunt couldn’t get it out, it took them 4 weeks to do it. Broker I was dealing with was pissed at the previous carrier.

as it turns out, getting the right paperwork from a mega carrier is a pain. This allows for the tractor trailer to enter but tractor leaves, trailer stays since tractor owner isn’t the registered owner and can’t remove it.


I mean it’s doable.

Also could get a number spoofer app, a burner phone, a burner email, and a VPN. Start booking the double brokered loads with their own scam MC#s to get the rate cons and figure out who the real broker/shipper is, then notify them... OR play phone games with them, its also fun when youre having some down time.

Would love to see more carriers hitting back at the scammers, posting negative reviews on DAT/Google/Truckstop. Reporting to the FMCSA, law enforcement, and anyone else who will listen. It is literally hundreds of millions being skimmed or stolen by these clowns. They have ruined customer relationships and jeopardized the ways we all feed our families.
