Huh? You got a wreckless driving ticket so that made you want to go drive a big truck? Okay...

I would say that just about all the companies are going to say wait until your ticket has been more than 3 years old. If it was on your own dirt road how could the police even give you a ticket? So if I drive my car through the back of my house I'm going to be cited? I would go back to court or hire a lawyer and try to resolve this. Something doesn't smell right and now it effects your livelihood.

Yes interesting indeed. Maybe his own dirt road was near the end and a city or county road was at that point, and police and rescue had to be there? Maybe anytime police/rescue show up, even on private property (where he lives), they are able to cite him??

We do not know the local laws of each state.

The time to fight any ticket is when it was written. After 2 years there isn't much you can do to get rid of a traffic conviction in most jurisdictions. You may find an insurance company that will cover you with your own authority, but you may pay a hit on the premium due to the ticket. Most insurance companies also consider the last 3 years when deciding rates or whether to cover you or not. Before applying for your authority you may want to check on insurance. Without insurance you will not be able to get your authority.

I'm guessing "my dirt road" simply means the road he lives on. Like I got a speeding ticket "on my street".
