He didn't say there wouldn't be consequences to your actions, he just said the decision is ultimately yours.

You have to weigh the cost of the consequences. Company cuts your miles or lets you go and you get a job elsewhere. Or DOT cites you for various violations which carry large fines and the potential to lose your cdl and the ability to get another trucking job

Trucking is a good paying job but the people you work for may not even like you, uncooked that is.
Just because you are you doesn't mean you are able to take it like a man.
They/Them/Those people will set you up for failure, beware the dozer drifter on the comedian.
Do not work for the one that forces you to do the wrong thing, even if/when you seem to enjoy it.
RUNNING home to mommy doesn't help, specially when yer home is way on down cross the river beyond the woods and up the hill to Lion Safari.
There do be companies that will set you up for failure, because they recognize the basement dwellers ain't ever havin' any outside adventures.

These companies have good cookouts: US and HER SISTER TRUCKIN' , OZERK, TRANSFARCE, RAYDER, USR FOODS, ADVICE TRANS, TRANSPLANTE, but not real good for dancin'.
