The company I work for hauls 20 53’ reefer loads of ‘injectable finished product’ (insulin) a week. I’ve heard it’s $3.6m a load.

I can’t compete on the high side but on the cheap side I’ve hauled scrap paper out of Hialeah FL, beat that!

Scrap paper out of Hialeah? Now I know how all my neighbors to the south are affording those drop visors for their 92 FLD’s :). Cha-Ching!

Doubles full of Colt ARs or 53' full of AH-64 blades when at Yellow doing linehaul .

AH-64 blades were trailer length containers on load bars with other MIL stuff below

Half million in Honda generators at PTL years ago and some LG and Samsung loads other than that

Armored 53' guys could beat anything in this thread. Especially ones who run PA loads

I'll talk about a load I was refused. Coffee from Starbucks. J.B. Hunt had it listed as a 'High Value' load, and so having a higher amount of cargo insurance than is legally required for O/O's, $250K (vs. $100k required), I thought I'd call in on it. I was told, for one, that carriers were required to operate at least a 10 truck fleet before they could haul high value for Hunt.

The load that would truly get me nervous - cigarettes. Easy to fence and essentially untraceable, these are almost a legendary target for hijacking.

Nobody could tell a story and make it as unbelievable as he could! I felt as he was allergic to the truth.

I for one was not amused by his stories, but perhaps now, knowing to treat every as fiction as opposed to a true story with unlimited exaggeration, maybe I could enjoy them, but I doubt it.

I don't have a clue about the person your referring to. I was commenting on some of the posts in this thread that I read. I didn't see any that were out in left field but as noted I didn't read every post.

Not sure on the value, but it was top secret hush hush delivery.

Picked up on refrigerator size box (dimensions on BOL), inside a 53’ van from Amazon, was told I need to drive straight through no stopping for fuel or coffee or food and to deliver it to an unmarked location. Found out it was an Amazon location and apparently no one at the delivery location knew what they did inside that building or what the cargo was.

Probably their AI or R&D facility. It was weird as I was watched all the time on this load.
Probably should have driven straight to Walmart and asked for a billion dollars.

I dont know, what do you think a 43K load of ordinance from Seal Beach Navy Weapons is valued at, Took a load from Seal Beach to WA, with a undescribed load back to Edwards. Just got back home for the weekend. I never know whats in these Gov' loads and I don't ask, or even want to know.
