630 miles, 10.5 hrs on the elog. 63 mph truck with a light load and not on the west coast.. The best one in CA was 605... barely made it look legal on paperlogs. One of those lucky days starting with full tanks and no loading etc.

Oh and for planning purposes I figure at 50 mph unless I'm loaded light and off the west coast.

Also good idea to get out and stretch those legs once in a while too, helps keep you from becoming a zombie driver.

My best run legally was 1305kms/815 miles in one shift. Ran from near Halifax, Nova Scotia to Lancaster, Ontario. Only stopped once for a quick 10 minute food break, hit no scales or traffic and ran wide open the whole time. Governed at 105km/h or 65mph. Pulled into the yard with zero time to spare.

with elog truck 656mi had run from Russellville, ar to Lafayette, IN to CAT plant there
took a lot of back highways til I came out at Sikeston, mo
I had 9min on clock before violation
I had to use driving while on duty just to get to Wal-Mart to park for night. they tried to tell me I couldn't park I told them I needed a safe haven because my clock ran out. had to speak to manager they let me park because I said I needed a safe haven
my load was due @3pm I started @3am ran thru a lot of towns @65 nobody was up didn't hit any traffic til I was coming thru Jonesboro, ar
I calculated my miles at 60mph so 660 is what I plan to average a day but my truck was governed at 65mph
I divide how fast Im going to drive by how many miles my trip is
    60mph/1100miles = 18hrs

I am on elogs and usually about plan to run about 650 miles per day or at most 680 depending on the route. I plan less if heavy and its hilly. I don't worry about going over the 11 hours by half hour or so as the FMC Safety Regulations allow up to 2 hours additional to complete the run (or safe haven) if subject to Adverse Driving Conditions. In the definition of Adverse Driving Conditions is mentions Ice and Snow but also states ".... or unusual road and traffic conditions," Thats pretty broad in my opinion - any kind of unexpected hold up - accident or whatever - that stops me from cruising at 65 is an Adverse condition. I just make sure and note the Adverse Condition. If I am just 15 mins over then obviously the Adverse Condition wasn't very serious. I think that the key point is the plan. If you honestly plan an 11 hour trip and it takes 11 and a 1/4 due to a minor hold up (unexpected road maintenance for example) then the law allows for that.

Left Elgin Ar at 4 this morn, pulled the brakes in Larkspur Co at a little after 8 this evening. 1027 miles door to door. It isn't the longest I've ran, but feels like it today.

Yeah, with a little luck. Wasn't many working on 40 or 70 either one. And I am pretty light only 73000 gross. My truck is old but it will still step pretty good.
