That's like asking will it rain in May in Texas. Just pick a company, get processed in, and go with the flow. Could you handle a lot of miles? Or would you crap out the 2nd week because they're "runnin' your arse off"?

After reading your reply, thought I may have worded the question poorly, but after another read, no...
Thanks anyway....... -
Recent CDL grads will usually be assigned to a senior driver, trainer, or mentor for 4 to 6 weeks. This veteran driver is supposed to help acclimate the new driver to the job as well as help improve their skills.
Normally this "training" period is paid out at a set amount per day. $50.00 to $60.00 per day is pretty common. Under this pay plan it really does not encourage the new driver to turn alot of miles. Some companies may even pair up 2 trainees in a truck and attempt to run them as a team while offering each driver .13 cpm.
Once a new driver upgrades to a first seat and is given his/her own truck then they will have an opportunity to start making money based on their own productivity. As a driver learns to manage his time better he will be offered more trips thus making more money.red_house Thanks this.
