Yeah agree with Oscar a little. Loose the connecting strap. Not as pretty but angle iron running down off frame rail would be lots stronger

Flex Air isn’t pretty to make brackets for. The piece going side to side isn’t that big of deal, everything just needs to be beefier to handle the weight and vibration.
-
...not enough space due to the spring ...maybe 1.5" or less between frame and spring
-
I realize you can’t do this with Flex Air, but this bracket and these fenders have been on since Feb 2019 with no issues.
Rideandrepair, Tug Toy, Cat sdp and 2 others Thank this. -
Have to do something similar ... I like it!
-
Yeah I noticed that after. How about square tubing on the inside of the frame rail. Obviously it would have to be shimmed out to clear the c channel but that would be fairly easy I thinkpavrom Thanks this.

I had something similar to the red truck on my 95 KW that had 8 bag suspension. I don’t have any pics of it though.

Oh my Goodness people are going to loose their mind. He drilled through the bottom flange of the frame rail. Truck should have broke in half instantly!!
I've drilled lots of extra holes in my frame. Even 4 through the top flange, I not longer used them and plugged and welded them with no adverse affects. But I would honestly not be crazy about drilling through the bottom flange -
... exactly my reaction ...maybe extra hole on the side , but upper or bottom flange ....im not expert either ,but he said 7 years going strong
-
...both trucks same company and owner

I wondered about this myself. I see bracket kits for sale, must have been 4 States or Raney’s. They seem expensive. Good template for ideas though.
