With Millis you either have to have a year experience or have completed the Millis cdl school.
I'd go with Abilene Motor Express. -
Once, while walking due south out of Roanoke I met a trucker outta Philly and had a nice long toke. He was headed west from the Cumberland gap to Johnson City, Tn....
Can't remember who he drove for though.

I remember driving down Salem Avenue one night (I lived there briefly in 96 - 97) and this drag queen rushes from the sidewalk to the car in front of me, gets in, fights with the occupant, rips out the rear view mirror, then runs off, holding the rear view mirror above their head like some sort of trophy. I know it's not helpful, but that's always the first thing which comes to mind for me whenever someone mentions Roanoke. That, and doing PCP under the big star on that hilltop.

Some companies with help you get your CDL at no cost, pay you $100 a week while training, provide a dorm and meals. You'll have to drive for them for a year afterwards though. Trying to think of a company that does this. There are a few. Have seen billboards advertising this.
