I am taking my business out of California to Washington. I only have one truck and trailer. Both are financed. Will the lenders cooperated and provide me with what I need to make this happen? What will Washington need from me to transfer title? Do I just walk into a DMV office with the paperwork? How long does it take to get title transferred?
Yes I do have a valid business address in Washington, and I will transfer my drivers license there also. I will "move" to Washington on paper and actually spend a lot of my downtime there. Thanks for the advice.

Shouldn't be too bad, the WA DOL (same as DMV) where you'll have to go to get your license doesn't do titles or tags, they have that subbed out to private agencies so you'll just have to find the local agency nearest you for that part.

Hmm... wonder if you started a "new" authority in NY state if you wouldn't have to pay taxes for 10 years like the commercials.

    Begining search now.
