OTR guys that fill in there have their own trucks, so there is no need for them to use the dedicated trucks. I just know some of the guys sleep in their trucks for their 10 instead of going home, so they keep the same truck every day on their 5.

You won't be able to do two 5's back to back, they keep those drivers working, you will almost use your entire 14 every day.

The account in Henderson, they didn't really care if you took your time off or not. You got 2 days off if you wanted but if you had the hours to run and wanted to they would let you go as long as you were legal.

Some may try it but this is a 24/7 account and if they need the truck to put someone else in it to cover another load you are out of it. The trucks are not going to sit idle if you are back at the yard or if you stop a few miles from it to try and keep it. A few times of that and they will have a talk with you about using up your time and getting the vehicle back for use.

While you are out with the TE no matter how much you drive, you will get the flat 80$ per day gross.

That's fine too. England paid $0 for orientation and $63 during your time with your first trainer, so that's already better lol. Oh, and the awesome $25 a day while waiting in a nasty hotel for said trainer. I shouldn't bash them like that though, if it wasn't for them I may not have gotten the experience I needed to move on to something better.

I have a random question, and I probably already know the answer to it lol. When running solo at Schneider, are you able to read your QC when you get a message while the truck is moving? I'm guessing that's a QC thing and not a specific company thing. Also for safety reasons. But, as you probably know, it's a PITB when you have to stop to read a message. At CRE it was. If you could at least just get a simple preview better than what the dash gives you would be nice. I hate stopping for a message that, on the dash "ticker" looks extremely important, only to find out it's some stupid canned message you end up deleting and losing 5-10 minutes drive time. Or not stopping and end up getting a phone call and getting yelled at for not answering your QC right away lol.
