does anyone know if there's a mpg in dash fuel indicator in a Freightliner 2014? I calculate it manually, but there has to be one somewhere in this dash. After pressing the dash bottom there is nothing in the dash. Please help. Thanks.

You are right. Why they would not have one? It's just plain silly. It does not have fuel usage neither. All calculations turn into "guesstimations"

You can't scroll through trough the info center to find the Lie-O-Lot meter. I would be surprised if a 2014 Crapcadia does not have one. Not unheard of, just surprised.

    Why would you need one?

Your not piloting a plane or a boat where consumption is used to figure out when to get fuel or how to lean out the mixture.

I don't have one. It's called the fuel optomizer.

I'm sure that when I divide miles run, by fuel used, I'm pretty close. I mean you start with full tanks, that you, yourself fill.
You fill back to that level. You're gonna be within a few gallons.

And the optimizer package probably adds a $1,000 or more to the price tag, when the truck was purchased new.
